Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How much and when will I be paid?
You will be paid 40% for every sale. All sales are calculated at the end of the month and commission checks go out within 5 days after the 1st of each month.

  2. How do you track orders coming from my Web site?
Seconds after you sign up you receive a unique affiliate code. When someone clicks on a banner or pop up window with your unique affiliate code, our system will track it. Your unique affiliate code looks something like this:[your affiliate id]

Every time a customer clicks on your unique affiliate link. this unique code tells us which affiliate account sent the customer to us. You are then paid on those sales. Also, you can login online and see your sales stats real time.

  3. What kind of income can I expect?
Low traffic websites can receive $150.00 – $600.00 a month. Heavier traveled sites can receive $1000.00 – $2500.00 a month, and large sites can expect $4000+ a month. Each of the images we’ve created for you is intended to represent our brand name and logo in a consistent fashion — we strongly encourage you to use the images as presented. If you feel that you must build something larger or more in keeping with your Web site’s overall design, you must submit any proposed graphics for our prior approval before displaying them online or in print.

  6. Can I use the name “Estate Planning Organizer” in my URL or the name of my site?
Our name is probably our single most valuable asset, and any name that includes the name “Estate Planning Organizer”, “The Estate Plan Center” or a similar-looking word might lead to confusion in the minds of customers over who actually owns and operates your site. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot accept any applications from sites whose domain name or URL fits this description. You should make every effort to develop and retain your own independent identity on your site, from the URL down to the page design.

  7. What kind of advertising can I do?
Affiliates are welcome to promote their own web sites, but naturally any promotion that mentions the Estate Planning Organizer could be perceived by the public or the press as a joint effort. Therefore, any use of our name in such promotions must be pre-approved by The Estate Plan Center. This includes advertisements, press releases and mailings.

  8. What kinds of advertising are prohibited?
If you spam anyone, we will shut you down right away and seek any damages. Certain forms of indiscriminate advertising, commonly referred to as “spamming”, are unacceptable as they could cause damage to our brand name. Prohibited forms of advertising include the use of unsolicited commercial email (UCE), postings to non-commercial newsgroups and cross-posting to multiple newsgroups at once. In addition, Associates may not advertise in any way that effectively conceals or misrepresents their identity, their domain name or their return email address.

Mailings are acceptable only so long as the recipient is already a customer or subscriber to the Associate’s services, and recipients must have the option to remove themselves from future mailings. Newsgroup postings are acceptable only in newsgroups that specifically welcome commercial messages; when in doubt, consult the newsgroup FAQ or moderators to be sure that such a message is acceptable in that newsgroup. Associates must also clearly represent themselves and their web sites as independent entities from the Estate Planning Organizer.

In any forum or media, Associates are expected to honor the advertising practices and restrictions that are commonly considered acceptable by its readers. Failure to honor this code of conduct can result in immediate termination of an Associate’s account.

  9. Does my Web site qualify for the affiliate Program?
Most Web sites will qualify to participate in the program; however, we may reject Web sites that we determine are unsuitable. Examples of sites that would NOT qualify for participation include:

    • Sites that promote sexually explicit material
    • Sites that promote violence
    • Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
    • Sites that promote illegal activities
    • Sites that violate intellectual property rights
  10. How should I design my Web site?
Every Associate site is unique, and we don’t provide any kind of standard template for you to start with. That’s because in almost every case, successful associates will have a pre-existing web site in place when they join the program. You should try to make your recommendations or links to the Estate Planning Organizer look and feel like the rest of your site. If you don’t yet have a web site, your options are endless and we encourage you to give the site its own unique personality.
